A useful investigation starts here
Manifold layout, loop labels and available isolation determine how a water-based floor-heating system can be assessed. Temperature patterns may guide tracing when conditions are suitable, supported by relevant circuit checks.
Leak Aware starts with the reported signs and the available access. We explain which checks suit the installation and what the findings justify before the repair scope is agreed.
What to have ready
Make existing manifold access available and locate installation drawings. Mention recent drilling, floor changes and any loop that has already been tested.
A method that may contribute
Temperature can reveal a useful pattern.
Thermal imagingThe scope, clearly stated
A cool patch alone is not evidence of leakage. Electrical floor heating, floor replacement and unrelated control faults are outside this service.
The residential package is £1,500 including applicable tax, with a £100 deposit deducted and £1,400 remaining.
When access and repair are agreed
Necessary access or excavation, the agreed plumbing repair, parts, materials and suitable testing are included within the residential scope. The report records the work, with a 12-month workmanship warranty.
Decorative and remedial reinstatement are excluded. Commercial and wider shared-system work is quoted separately.
