A useful investigation starts here
The investigation begins with the meter, stop valves and the route into the property. We consider normal demand and the extent of the private supply before selecting suitable listening, tracing or section tests.
Leak Aware starts with the reported signs and the available access. We explain which checks suit the installation and what the findings justify before the repair scope is agreed.
What to have ready
Include water-supplier correspondence, known pipe routes and whether the meter feeds other buildings. Mention any route through neighbouring land.
A method that may contribute
Listen for evidence along the route.
Acoustic listeningThe scope, clearly stated
The instruction must identify the private pipework to be investigated. Supplier equipment, unclear ownership and third-party access need separate agreement.
The residential package is £1,500 including applicable tax, with a £100 deposit deducted and £1,400 remaining.
When access and repair are agreed
Necessary access or excavation, the agreed plumbing repair, parts, materials and suitable testing are included within the residential scope. The report records the work, with a 12-month workmanship warranty.
Decorative and remedial reinstatement are excluded. Commercial and wider shared-system work is quoted separately.
